Avanafil is a PDE5 inhibitor with a very fast onset of action compared with other PDE5 inhibitors. It is absorbed quickly, reaching a maximum serum concentration in about thirty to forty-five minutes.
It relaxes muscles of the blood vessels and increases blood flow to the penis, thus treating erectile dysfunction/impotence in men. You should never take more than one Avanafil tablet at any one time and not more than once a day to avoid any side effects.
For best effect the pill should be taken between 15 to 30 minutes before sexual intercourse.
People with a history of kidney disease, heart disease, low blood pressure and cardiovascular risks should not use this medicine.
Avanafil interacts with some medications and can also have various common and less common side-effects.
This medication does not protect you from HIV (Human Immuno deficiency virus) or STDs (sexually transmitted diseases).
