HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is a hormone which is extracted from the urine of a pregnant women.
In male Human Chorionic Gonadotropin stimulates the interstitial cells of the testes and consequently the secretion of androgens and the development of secondary sexual characteristics.
HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is used in the following cases:
- To help and support pregnancy in women
- Increase sperm count in men
- To treat infertility in women
- In young boys in whom testes have not descended into the scrotum
